1) Silent Walk to Pomander Walk Burial Ground - 8am. Begin at MLK Monument on FDU Campus, 1000 River Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666 and walk to the Pomander Burial Grounds. (Parking is available at the teaneck side of the FDU Campus just past the soccer field. Proceed over bridge to the MLK Monument)
2) Flag Raising at Votee Park Flagpoles. 12pm at Votee Park Flagpoles.
3) Jubilee Ceremony at Weinberg Bandshell in Votee Park Followed by Celebration inside Rodda Center - 1pm! - Join your neighbors to hear about the history of Juneteenth and enjoy a community awards presentation. Food and vendor fair after the program!

The Advisory Board on Community Relations along with the Fair Share Housing Council of Northern NJ and Age-Friendly Teaneck present a Fair Housing Seminar; sharing information to protect renters, buyers, and homeowners.
Bergen County Mosquito Control will be performing an early morning ULV Truck Spray in Overpeck Park in Leonia, Teaneck, and Ridgefield Park on Wednesday, June 10th, 2026, between the hours of 3:00AM - 6:00 AM. We will be spraying Duet adulticide to eliminate active adult mosquitoes. Please notify your residents about this. As a precaution, tell them to keep their windows closed. In the event that it rains, the spray will be postponed until Thursday, June 11th, 2026.

As the Department of Public Works continues to clean up storm debris from this past weekend, Garden Debris collection this week is going to be delayed. Please continue to leave your items curbside and the DPW will collect as resources become available during the week. Thank you!
